What time does your Reception Age child go to bed?

Just wondering this because my reception age dc seems tired these days and wondering if their bedtime should be brought back a bit (7.30 pm - lights off after bedtime story etc.)
I think dh is worried about dc going to bed too early because they might start getting up earlier but I am not convinced this is always the case.
Anyone?

Anywhere from 6.30-7.30. He wakes around 7.00-7.15 (which has got a touch later since starting school). He gets 11.5 - 12.5 hours’ sleep a night. DD is the year above (13 month gap, both summer babies) and goes / wakes at the same time.

Lights out at 7.30pm after a story.

Between 12 and 1, wakes at 5-6 but she has probable Asd and doesn’t need sleep if she goes at 7 ish she’s awake at 12

Thats with melatonin, without, she doesn’t sleep at all - she’s been 4 days with no sleep whatsoever, we had to take shifts. Last night she slept from 12-3

7pm here on the dot bar Sat eves at Granny and Grandpa's and also needs 12 hours. I have to wake her for school usually around 7.15-7.30.

Bear in mind that the clocks go back this weekend so that would be a great opportunity to move it earlier by stealth!

6.45pm- 5.30/6am she likes going to bed early and getting up earlier...if she goes to bed later she is awake earlier generally Grin

My DS has bath, book and milk from 6.30, lights off about 7.15. I thought we were a bit earlier than most but that seems pretty average for this thread.

mikapatika - I can't imagine be how hard that is for you and your DD. Four days without sleep??

Zebrasinpyjamas · 22/10/2018 23:16

Before September, ds went to bed at 8.30-9 (or sometimes later Shock). Reception is so exhausting it's now 7pm asleep every night or hrs an emotional mess. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes getting a child free evening! He wakes up a little earlier but not much (6.30 vs 7 ish). I hope it lasts Grin
