too far to walk for my 4yo?

is a 1.5 mile walk/scoot to school be too much for my 4yo?nothing physically wrong with him. i'm worried i'm making him walk too far? he goes on his scooter, takes about 30 minutes each way. he is really tired atm, but that might just be school anyway? How far do yours walk?

It’s a long way home at the end of the school day, Reception kids are usually very tired for the first term.
Are you planning on the same way of getting to school and back when it’s freezing cold or pouring with rain?

Mine did 1.1mi for Nursery and it was hard work.
I would often cycle there then push my bike home with him sitting on the seat to give him a break.
