Hi all

I’m doing a bit of research and hoped you could help me out.

What have you spent on your kids last birthday party?

Inclusive of the cost of venue hire, decor, food, entertainer, plastic tut bags etc.

Extra points if you can say where abouts you are in the country and age of the little subject too.

Thank you very much!!

About 100 on food, party in our garden. Although we have been to some amazing parties at venues, my ds always mentions fondly our Halloween party where it was a race to wrap up adults with toilet rolls to be mummy mummies.

Soft play parties are rubbish in my opinion, the kids don't even interact with each other! Then you spend a bomb on brews just to get through.

Best parties are in a hall or whatever when the host brings a brew and you all muck in.

Although my kids are five and under, I'm sure it's different when they are ten!
