Had an early night yesterday, bit of a cold, so now up at the crack of dawn.
Just brought some coffee and back to bed. OH will be up soon too as on call, working from home today.
May go to Tesco at 8am and get that done while it's early, then I too will be working for a few hours.
DD is back from University for the weekend but will slepp till noon no doubt.
What are you doing today?

Are you in Scotland speakout?
Our Sunday trading laws are a little irritating here in England.

catchingzzzeds · 21/10/2018 07:26

Wow where are you to have 24/7 supermarkets even on a Sunday?!
We’re off to Disneyland Paris this afternoon, I’ve barely slept for excitement!

tumericmasala · 21/10/2018 07:28

I'm listening to DH snore. Been to the loo bit of an upset tummy. Possibly these iron tablets I'm taking.

Climbed back into beds. Little ones still sleeping! Tired kids!

speakout · 21/10/2018 07:29

Yes I am in Scotland- no archaic Sunday trading laws.

Flying to Spain! ✈️

LittleCandle · 21/10/2018 07:33

Going to Ikea for breakfast and then later taking DD2 and her DP back home because we are loaning them suitcases to help in their upcoming move. I'm only up early because I was sleeping in the spare bed and its fucking uncomfortable!

BifsWif · 21/10/2018 07:34

I’m just enjoying a coffee in bed, I’ll get up in a minute for a shower and then we’re going pumpkin picking.

We’ll take the dog for a long walk after and then we’re having dinner at my mums. I love Sundays.

Another family heading to Junior Parkrun this morning. Not our normal one as we are away visiting family in another part of the UK so partaking in a bit of parkrun tourism this morning. My DC have done this parkrun before when visiting grandparents and prefer it to our normal route, (and like the juice and biscuits you get afterwards!) so they’re all up and excited to head out.

After that DH and I are leaving the DC with the grandparents and heading away for a couple of days in a hotel on our own. It’s been a hell of a past few years for us and this is a very much needed break - can’t wait

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 21/10/2018 07:37

Up with my 14month old, (after being up through the night with her) propping my eyes open with coffee and wondering how many years I’d get for smothering my peacefully sleeping DH...you can sleep in prison right ??

AnythingConsidered · 21/10/2018 07:37

We're heading to Wembley for the 2nd of 3 NFL Games. Leaving at 8am, expect to be home around midnight.

Today is not a great match up of teams so expecting the game to be poor, but the atmosphere is always fab!

speakout · 21/10/2018 07:38

OH and I may go to Ikea for breakfast- it opens at 9am.

Coffee is lovely, but breakfast is always disappointing . Bacon is always undercooked, horrible sausages- pastries are nice, and overall cheap.

Got a helicoptor, landed on a glacier but couldnt manage the hike, so got airlifted back while DH did the hike. He had the car keys so had to wait 3 hours for get back.
Then went to wild life centre and saw baby kiwis now back at apartment dh exhsusted and snoring, so watching a film and cooking pizza.
Im actually having an amazing holiday in New Zealand.

theboxofdelights · 21/10/2018 07:57

That’s nice tami. We do the fountains abbey park run, always a few tourists at ours!

MrsJonesAndMe · 21/10/2018 07:57

Will go for a walk and a coffee this morning.

DD has a project which has already taken hours - will need to carry on this PM. I will cook a roast.

DH will iron and watch F1.

DS will probably get lots of toys out but not play with them.

LongSummerDays · 21/10/2018 07:57

Going to be working this morning then "working" in my glass studio making Christmas goodies to sell. It's hardly work if I love it! Grin

LongSummerDays · 21/10/2018 07:58

bruffin I'm jealous! Enjoy! Grin

Rarfy · 21/10/2018 08:04

Popping to see nieces followed by food and rug shopping. DP and i have just bought shared ownershipour first home. Something we never ever thought possible. It's pretty amazing and i feel overwhelmed at how lucky we are at the moment. We've had our fair share of shit.

Then i have to go and clean our old rental ready to hand over Shock dreading it. Six months pregnant and the thought of floors and skirting boards if really putting me off but it will be such a relief to hand it back so need to crack on. Plus we need clothes at our new house!

Ratbagcatbag · 21/10/2018 08:05

Currently lay in bed mumsnetting whilst 5yo DD watches the iPad. Up soon and she’s got her maths homework to do.
Lazy day planned then. Sunday lunch, clearing her bookshelf out and some of her old toys too. Oh and she wants to write her santa list. ☺️

Jaimx86 · 21/10/2018 08:08

Just drinking tea in bed before going for an outdoor bootcamp - where I’ll whinge about being too cold throughout 😰Then home for breakfast before a dog walk in the countryside.

dancemom · 21/10/2018 08:09

Dd off to a dance comp so I was up early curling hair and applying make up 🙄

Back to bed now as I'm free until 3pm

carrie74 · 21/10/2018 08:15

Just woken up about 30 mins ago. DS watching YouTube downstairs, DH getting prepared for a run later this morning. Will encourage DS to do a little run and may even do one myself (not a keen runner, but may do one today). Then need to pick up DD from sleepover at friends, and then drive to hopefully see DH and our friend at the finish line. We're then all going to catch up over lunch at a pub local to the race (not local to any of us - they're on holiday and we're travelling there to meet them).

Back home, last little bits of homework, DH will, probably be shattered, and chill out for the evening. Might try and go for a walk with friends early evening if home in time. One more week here until half term, we're all ready for it!

justcheese · 21/10/2018 08:20

Taking DD and three friends to the Teen Awards. Looking forward to it as I don't have to go into the concert itself but will have a few hours to myself pootling around.

ShannonRockallMalin · 21/10/2018 08:30

DH is away for the weekend, DSs are still asleep so I’m enjoying a nice quiet breakfast with the cats. Then going to blitz the house as I’ve had to neglect it for the last few weeks due to various stressful events. Might try and get some tidying done in the garden too, it’s beautiful weather here.

vampirethriller · 21/10/2018 08:32

In bed with tea and the dog at the moment, then making my Christmas puddings this afternoon and brown stew chicken for dinner later, a friend is coming over. I need to organise a huge amount of baby clothes but I keep putting it off. I think I'll put it off today as well.
