What would you do if you won the million raffle on lotto?

I put tickets on tonight, hoping that I win even the million raffle. Already know how I'd spend it.

Would give my parents and partners parents 100k each.

Then buy the house I love. And furnish it obviously.

I would also buy a 2 bedroom house to rent out for a bit of extra income. Maybe buy two if I can get two cheap enough.

Then the rest put into a savings account and have a really nice holiday as well next year.

What would you do?

Buy my house (250k), my parents house (250k) and MILs house (100k). Buy a small 2 bed property to rent out for some income (maybe 200k). I'd put 100k into savings/investments for DS. Spend about 20k really doing up the house (desperately need a new bathroom, probably extending it into the master bedroom to make it a smaller double room and changing the other double room into the new "master bedroom"). Clear the garden out and build a driveway.

Then I'd put the final 80k towards lovely holidays for the rest of our lives. We're still young, have decent pensions, so as long as we have a home and some rental income and secure future for DS, I'm happy. Not really a material person so it's all about the holidays!
