No. No one from school. Still got a few friends from Uni but my best friends are at work now.

SheSparkles · 20/10/2018 19:10

4 close friends from primary school who I see quite often. We’re 48

JaiNotJay · 20/10/2018 19:10

Yes, four of my closest friends are people I met at primary school. We've stayed friends for more than thirty years despite living far apart and having very different lives now. We only meet up a couple of times a year, but it's always good to catch up.

TellerTuesday4EVA · 20/10/2018 19:12

Yes I went to primary school with two of my closest friends & secondary school with the other 3

Bluesheep8 · 20/10/2018 19:13

Same as a pp, no one from primary, secondary or university. Or any previous jobs...

Friolero · 20/10/2018 19:14

I'm not in touch with anyone from primary. Have a few Facebook friends from secondary school but I'm not properly in touch with them. My friends are mainly from university or friends I've met since having children.

JC4PMPLZ · 20/10/2018 19:16

nah - secondary yes, but not primary.

Eminybob · 20/10/2018 19:18

Apparently my best friend briefly went to my primary school and then moved to a different one, but I don’t remember her at all. We met at age 14/15, although we didn’t go to secondary school together, she went to the one next door to mine (shared a playing field) and we met though mutual friends.

DollyWilde · 20/10/2018 19:18

No. I had a rotten time at school, I’m only friends now with uni friends onwards Sad

LinoleumBlownapart · 20/10/2018 19:19

Yes one who was my best friend.

flowery · 20/10/2018 19:21

A couple are on my Facebook, but otherwise not really. I moved away from the area aged 14 though, otherwise might have stayed in touch better.

Still friends with a couple of people from secondary school (including DH) and 3 from university.

Rach000 · 20/10/2018 19:24

No, had a really close friend at primary school but went to different secondary schools so was hard to keep as close but kept it touch and still saw each other but she went quite a way away to uni and had already drifted apart by then. Is a shame really.

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 20/10/2018 19:25

On FB, yes, Neither or them are based in the UK now but if I saw them in town we would stop and talk.

Of my two best friends, one I've known since birth and the other since year 7 but not in primary school with either of them

shaggedthruahedgebackwards · 20/10/2018 19:29

Yes. My oldest friend whom I was best friends with through primary and secondary school

I still see her a couple of times a year

LynetteScavo · 20/10/2018 19:29

1 FB only friend. She was my best friend in middle school, then we went to different high schools and lost touch. But we have several mutual friends on FB, and I've happened to see her DM through her business regularly.
Oh, and one boy from my class went to a different high school and ended up as one as DHs best friends.

candlefloozy · 20/10/2018 19:29

Two people. But still see lots of them.

StaringDownTheBarrelOfFifty · 20/10/2018 19:30

No. My brother?!

Longdistance · 20/10/2018 19:31

Yes, my best friend of 37 years ❤️

greyspottedgoose · 20/10/2018 19:31

23 years later we are in still In contact weekly and catch up in person one a month or so, I'd be lost without her ❤️

YearOfYouRemember · 20/10/2018 19:31

No but I am still friends with a girl I met in first year at secondary and I still think of one friend I had at primary and wish I could find her.

Oldbutstillgotit · 20/10/2018 19:33

Recently had lunch with 3 friends I have known since Primary 1. What a laugh we had . We are all 64 !

Wallywobbles · 20/10/2018 19:33

Yup lots of good contacts from primary and my bff. Went to 2 good primaries and met up with them again through the years.

Ohhgreat · 20/10/2018 19:35

Me no, I'm only in touch with one from uni. DH on the other hand has 4 close friends all of which he's known since primary!

Trinpy · 20/10/2018 20:06

Yes, my best friend. We barely spoke in primary school but we became friends in secondary and she's one of those people that never seems to lose touch with anyone.

I changed jobs a few months ago and I've recently discovered that my best friend from primary school works for the same company. Her department is on a different site to mine so we don't see each other and I don't think she's worked it out yet. It would be very weird to see her as an adult; in my mind she is still 11.

Doilooklikeatourist · 20/10/2018 20:11

One from secondary school , we are a good 4 hours drive away from each other , so rarely see each other , but Facebook and the occasional phone call ( and then don’t stop talking for an hour )

We’re both 58 , it’s been a long friendship
