Has Aptamil gone back to its original recipe?

Originally posted in pregnancy but no traffic so trying here :-)

Used Aptamil last time and was planning on using it again but then I read all the threads about how the formula has changed and is now awful. Haven't heard anything about it for a while so just wondering what the lay of the land is? Have they reverted back to the original recipe? Should I use Aptamil or switch? Thanks!

I think they've stuck with the new recipe, but most babies have now either adapted or switched. If you're starting from scratch baby should be fine as knows no different, but read the instructions as these have changed. Apparently the issues were caused by people using old instructions on the new formula. I breastfeed so have no personal experience of it, but that's what I heard.

Isn't formula all the same bar a couple of ingredients?

We switched during the formula change to a brand called Kendamil and have never looked back! They give you a bulk buying discount when you buy 3 (I think?) or more, depending on how many you buy. Delivery is also very reliable as well, it's the next day via DHL. I found that with Aptamil is was hit and miss as to whether there would be any left in the shops.

I changed formula after a bad reaction... I haven’t kept up to date to whether they returned to the old recipe or not. Sorry!
