Best way to cook burgers!

I have some homemade burgers chilling in the fridge.

As it's not bbq weather, what's the best way to cook them?
I'd usually bung them in the oven on a grill tray but wondering if there's a better way...

Balls... I thought I'd put this in food & recipes

Stick them in the oven. Easy.

No way! Oven means dry burgers
Take them out of the fridge for half an hour before you want to cook them then do them on a frying pan or griddle pan.
High heat to start with so they sear and then turn heat down (just a bit).
Rest them for a few minutes before you serve them. Yum

Hmm... I'm tempted to pan fry.

How do I make sure they're cooked all the way through? I've got the little kids having them for dinner too...

Could I sear them in the pan and then stick them in the oven? Or would that dry them out too?

Honestly.. I do know how to cook some things 🙈

Rare burgers made and handled hygenicaly at home should be safe to eat.
If you're worried though just poke a knife in one to see if it's still pink in the middle.

But yes, you can finish them in the oven too

Thanks @froufroufoxes
Burgers have now been devoured.
I pan fried them first and then bunged them in the oven because all my smoke alarms went off 🙈
I thought it was the burgers but it was my bun burning in the toaster

Kids like them. I thought they were abit bland... even though there was plenty of red onion, Worcestershire sauce etc gone into them.

Oh well, I'm waffling now. Thanks for your help!

I never bother to faff around with onions and things. Just good beef with a high fat content and a massive pinch of salt and pepper.
Can you tell I love a burger @Bigboobiebish ?
