I fucking hate letting agents and crappy landlords who take the piss

Just want to get that off my chest.

Tenants are far more protected than landlords, in Scotland anyway. They can move out with hardly any notice, and it’s almost impossible to get money for damage etc as the deposit very rarely would cover the cost.

Tenants, on the other hand, have no way of knowing if their prospective landlord is a criminal, psychopath, pervert, nutter or just lazy, rude and greedy.

Toearly Well the clues will be there. How clean is the property, how well maintained, have you asked the prospective ll for anything and how have they responded? What condition are the carpets in, Is the property well decoratedmor just paint splashed around, are the taps polished, are there clean lampshades, what condition are are the curtains in, if there is an outside space, is it clean and well kept? All sorts of clues are there as to how professional the landlord is.
