Me and dc aged 5-13. Just got a car so can travel. Any suggestions for how to spend our Sunday without spending a fortune? There’s 5 of us so tickets to stuff add up...

Depends where you are in the country?
A day out in the park is free but the weather is terrible where I am.
Look online for some vouchers and do something indoors?

Yes, terrible weather here to, hence the lack of inspiration!

DD10 and I had paid for an outdoor activity which the weather messed up.
Instead we did her next fave thing- cake at the cafe, then a trip to the Works the spend her pocket money on a jigsaw and "paint your own birdhouse"! So we're having a picnic at home followed by an arts n crafts afternoon- and she's so happy.
It really depends what your kids are into. It's a shame that just as you've got the car the weather is pants. There's loads in indoor stuff to do where I live (Birmingham) but they can be pricey to do each weekend. So we hunt out cheaper days out. The local uni does an art class for kids on Sundays which is a bargain at £6. The local libraries are always running themed events.
And sometimes we drive to different cities and follow treasure trails like this
