I'm wrapped in a heated throw watching BBC cookery shows with a large hot chocolate and a pasta bake in the oven, with the cat snoozing on the sofa.

Bliss! Grin

At work! And will be until 3am!

Envious of those snuggled up at home relaxing Grin

Ilovemypantry · 13/10/2018 20:50

If it wasn’t for the falling leaves, I wouldn’t believe it was Autumn 🍂, it’s really unnaturally warm.
DH is watching crap on TV so I’m sitting on sofa browsing on MN. Will probably go up to bed soon and read my book.

tootiredtospeak · 13/10/2018 21:00

A heated throw ....its blood boiling here.

I'm sitting in my garden with a glass of wine - it's unbelievably warm!

PrincessIsAUnicorn · 13/10/2018 21:17

I must be going through the change, I'm babysitting for a neighbour and have linen trousers and a vest top on, and am boiling

leccybill · 13/10/2018 21:23

Had a chilled day just at home. DD had a friend round so I got loads of housework done. Now relaxing in a clean and tidy lounge. Have wine and onion rings. Life is good.

theboxofdelights · 13/10/2018 21:37

wine and onion rings ... food of the gods until indigestion starts at 2am.

Crunchymum · 13/10/2018 21:46

It's been warm here too.

I'm currently waiting for my poorly 3yo to wake up from her (5 hour!!) nap.

She was up from 4am puking and fell asleep just before 5pm. Don't want to wake her but she won't sleep through. Or will she???

pinkhorse · 13/10/2018 21:59

Cold??? It's boiling!

Chipsahoy · 13/10/2018 22:37

Sweating in bed bf baby at moment. It's very mild tonight.
Earlier I had a movie night with older DC, once they went to bed, I ate ice cream and watched another movie.
Dh is out with his friend, hoping he won't be too late/pissed so tomorrow isn't a right off. He rarely goes out though, so determined not to be annoyed if he's drunk!

kaytee87 · 13/10/2018 22:50

I'm in bed now with a hot water bottle (mainly because I have a sore stomach though), it's not warm here at all. 8 degrees outside I think.

imnottoofussed · 13/10/2018 22:53

It's still 18 degrees in Stockport so definitely not cold Grin

I've spent the day doing hardly anything, finished a book, watched strictly then xfactor, started a new book and just off to bed although I don't feel like I've used up enough energy to sleep

SneakyGremlins · 13/10/2018 22:55

My phone says 16 but I am much colder than that Grin

HemanOrSheRa · 13/10/2018 23:00

Flipping 'eck! I've got all the windows open here! I'm boiling Grin.

I'm watching Louis Theroux and working myself up to cooking spicy prawns, rice and peas. I had a Nanna nap this afternoon and slept through dinner time Grin.

SneakyGremlins · 13/10/2018 23:02

Oh I love prawns.

I'm watching Great British Menu on catch up. I'm a good cook but this stuff is way too advanced!

still in my heated throw

springmachine · 13/10/2018 23:04

It's windy and weirdly warm here.

I went late night shopping at 9pm and was out in just a T-shirt !

123rd · 13/10/2018 23:12

So flipping hot here. Walked round to the local shop at 8 pm in a light cotton jumper. DD had shorts on. Windows are still open at gone 11 pm! In Oct !!
Weirdly warm is a good description

dimsum123 · 13/10/2018 23:19

It's been hot here today (London). We just got in from drinks and a meal out and the theatre. So lovely to be out on such a warm evening (v windy though). Definitely felt like the summer was back! Smile

Singlenotsingle · 13/10/2018 23:20

It's hot and sticky here in Essex. Temp is 18 C, 67F. Just checked whether the heating's come on by mistake! Shock

StrangeLookingParasite · 13/10/2018 23:25

I am so, so envious of you lucky buggers who've got cold. It was twenty-bloody-seven here today, and will be twenty-six tomorrow. It can sod off.
I am tired of sweating, and I want to wear a scarf without sweat running down my back. (I'm lovely, I am).

LesLavandes · 13/10/2018 23:43

19 c here. Why did ai make a hot water bottle. I haven't got into bed and I'm sweating

Sallystyle · 13/10/2018 23:54

I was at work. Not long got back.

It has been lovely here though. I have been outside lots tonight in just a thin sweater and I am very cold blooded. I am in Norfolk.

Sallystyle · 13/10/2018 23:56

I just checked the temp inside my house and it is 24c! I haven't had the heating on in days.

Outside it is still 19c.

Jellykat · 14/10/2018 00:02

I'd settle for a warm night rather then the carnage thats been going on here in West Wales!

AlexaAmbidextra · 14/10/2018 00:05

It’s still 18C here on the Essex coast. I’m sweltering and thinking I won’t sleep unless it cools down considerably.
