Yes I know, I KNOW it's only October but last year was a washout as I was sick as a dog being pregnant with my first baby. I love Christmas so DH and I want to make the absolute most of it this year. Especially as we now have DS. And it's 7 weeks until we plan putting our tree up!

But what do you buy a 6 month old? He's really not going to give a shit so would it be mean to wrap up the toys and clothes I'm saving for him for when he turns 6m? From past experience of buying presents for my friends kids they prefer the bags and wrapping paper anyway!

I am going to get him some keepsake for his baby box (possibly an xmas eve babygrow or something).

Get him a lovely wooden train set. It will look nice in his room and he'll be old enough to use it before you know it. Brio ones are good.

Other than that I'd get a few things suitable for him...nice shaky toy, lovely cup and bowl and some books.

It wouldn't be mean AT ALL!!! Go on and wrap them! Wink

Yay go for it , many more Christmas to look forward with your little one . It really is the best time for little ones .
Speaking from experience when you have dc it takes lots of planning so ignore these bah humbug people and plan away .

Probably not even worth wrapping them. No point wasting money on paper (never mind the environment!) considering he literally won’t have a clue. Maybe wrap one for a photo and then put the others in a big box he can pull things out of?
