My OH can't go anywhere without me. It's quite draining. Neither of us drive. We rely on buses slot but she has panic attacks if they get too full and we have to get off. She can't go anywhere without me apart from 1 local shop and school run.

Would she be eligible.
It would cone in so handy to be able to get taxis sometimes

I think your OH would be eligible for the mobility part of PIP as she struggles getting about on buses.

My PIP is for both physical and mental issues and I get the care component. I probably should have been awarded the mobility one also (when I was on DLA I got both care and mobility) as both physical and mental issues cause me to struggle getting about. I do have a travelcard though which means I can get free travel after 9am and I have the companion sort which means I can take someone with me if I need to. However, I realise that would not help someone who struggles with the bus even with someone else there travelling with them.

I think your OH should apply for PIP. I was advised by Citixzens Advice Bureau to get one of their advisers to help me fill in the form.
