My shoes for work have finally broken and I am in a bit of a issue.
I have to wear black shoes for work and they need to be polish able (company policy ) I also can not have open toes/heel since I work with cages etc (retail) I may not wear trainers.
Additionally as I suffer from plantar fasciitis there has to be a bit of a heel on them (around 1 inch to 1 1/2) and (to add insult to injury) I also have mortons neuroma so the shoes need to have space in the toes and currently I use a insert to be able to aid the Mortons Neuroma (and it really helps)
As I am on my feet all day I also find that having shoes that have some sort of "buckle" works best. I can not wear brogues as I have a bad issue with my feet overheating (I am not just talking hot they feel like they are burning - Podiatrist says it likely has to do with the PF & MN combined )
I am considering getting some Alegria Paloma shoes I have a pair I got on ebay so know I can get around in them. However I am not convinced they will work constantly due to the fact they are just a tad on the low side heel wise for me. (I have never used them as a all day shoes they are what I wear for when out and about for a few hours..) Also the pair I have is actually a size to big so I am again not convinced as to what I should do.
I have spend so much time researching trying to work out what to do. However all orthopedic shoes I can find tend to be trainer like or open toed/heeled.. I can afford to spend a bit on them I dont mind if I have to go up to the £100 + as I need to have comfortable shoes.
