I'm speaking about my language is at a conference next week and I was trying to find pictures to put in my PowerPoint, my mother found this. It's the only picture I have together with my little vista girl. And no you're not seeing things, she was my guide dog. I was very lucky to be given one of the only visas, because I was small and she was small. But he was also very crazy Ha ha ha. And she stole my rum cake, ate the entire thing and fell asleep for a very long time after.

She was great! That school has since stopped training versus live as a guide dogs. Hungarian Vizsla live. Sorry, you'll just have to know what I mean.

Can't imagine using my V as a guide dog. She's a complete fruit loop, who would be dragging you into the bramble patch after every rabbit! And she is terrified of every noise.

Tell me, OP, is this breed also known as the Hungarian Hunting Dog? Just that she looks remarkably like ones a friend had in Italy (which were used for hunting down wild boar or even rabbits. They had such a good nose - rather like your girl sniffing out the cake?!). I've got to get ready for work now, back later for your reply. Intrigued.Smile

America, the same guide dog school also tried to train why am Reiner's, very unsuccessfully. They were just too crazy, lovely, since my dog loved them, but they just didn't work as a guide dogs.

And yes, she used to go after the birds. I lived in Florida, so you can imagine how many birds there were around for her to chase. I also remember the first time I took her on a plane… She jumped on the person next to me when we were landing and then when we got out of the plane, she had a "accident" in the airport . Very embarrassing moment I can tell you

I'm giggling at the rum cake Grin!

I don't know aviator, maybe America would know? I think probably they are the same though since Vista lives are known for hunting

But she would hunt for everything, cake, balloons, are used to have to be very careful with her at the beach. She absolutely loved it, but she used to drink the sea water. She didn't like going in the water though, just running next to it and drinking it. Oh, I did forget, she fell in the pool while chasing something, I can't remember what now. She was a little on the insane side but I don't think any other dog could compare to her

My mother only has cats now because she could not have another dog after my girl. Unfortunately, she ended up having Cushing's disease, my dog I mean. I think my mother cried the day we had to put my dog to sleep more than she cried for her mother.

Hummus, it was my birthday cake! We left it on the counter thinking will be back in five minutes. We came back and we were like, where is the cake?

Yes, they are sometimes called Hungarian Hunting Dogs, or Hungarian Pointers.

Mine is a terrible food thief too. I hadn't even realised anything was missing until I saw my girl sitting in her bed looking guilty. She had scoffed half a sticky toffee pudding. She has had legs of lamb, birthday cakes, packs of mince pies, regularly swipes the kid's meals if they aren't eaten quickly enough. DH and the kids will not learn not to leave anything within her reach!
