I love this odd object. It is metal and the leaves are vine leaves. I wondered if anyone might now what it is?

It's gorgeous, that type of floral metalwork was very fashionable in days gone by. I have a round mirror surrounded by black leaves that my cousin gave to me. Might be worth a few bob, you never know.

A candle or small pot plant would look nice.
