Would you see a GP about no periods?

I had a medical termination (with tablets) in early July. It's now October and still no signs of a period.

My DC is 11 months but my periods returned to normal straight after having him (despite EBF and still going at 11 months Hmm)

Would you see your GP?

Yes

Yes. Have you done a urine pregnancy test since you had the termination?
It can take a few weeks to get back to normal but this is longer than I would expect

How were you after the tablets, did you bleed a lot? I'd be worried you're either still pregnant or got pregnant again since. Definitely see your GP but take a test first as they will ask you to if not. Saves time.

Gamm I'll be completely honest, I didn't take a test after I stopped bleeding like I was suppose to.

I bled extremely heavily for the first few days, then it went into a period type for about two weeks. Then spotting and then nothing. Seemed very textbook of what would happen to me.

I had horrendous sickness, migraines and constant vomiting. All went within hours after I started bleeding after the tablets.

Deffo worth a trip to the GP

Back when I was late 20s my periods stopped, nothing for ages, I went to see my GP, the first thing was POAS which I didnt do beforehand as I knew I definitely wasnt pregnant as hadnt been DTD with anyone so the chances were zero. It showed I wasnt.

We gave it another bit of time before he referred to gynae who wasnt concerned. Fast forward 2 years and they were still awol.

I finally convinced my psychiatrist to take me off a particular medication which was a slight possibility could be causing it, within 6 months they returned.

I had a 2 day bleed, a week later I started bleeding heavily over the space of 6 hours I lost over 3 pints of blood and ended up in theatre while they tried to stem it

They have gone awol since and are random, back in 2016 I had 1 period by October when I convinced a gynae to put me on hormone therapies and chemical menopause. I stayed on that for a year when he took me off again.

That was roughly this time last year and back in May they restarted and are roughly 4-5 weeks apart now and regular for the first time in many years.

Its deffo worth a trip to GP and as in your case there may be chance that you are still carrying and if you are you need to know asap so you can make decisions from there. If you arent, they will be able to give you more professional advice and will have your history as well.

Flowers hun, its hard for you as you need to know one way or another
