Not sure if im posting in the right area tbh, but for those with children under 2, would you pay for them to get the flu jab ?

It's not routinely given to children under 2. From the age of 2 they are given the nasal spray.

On the Superdrug website, it states the flu jab is available from the age of 6 months.

Considering of giving my lg it when she gets her chicken pox vaccine.

Just looking for opinions really .

I'm in the US where it's routinely given to children 6 months and older, so yes I would, as that's what their paediatrician would advise.

I had the worst flu ever the year I got the flu jab.
I’m not a doctor but surely you need to give her body time to recover from all these injections.
Obviously chicken pox vaccine. Speak to your GP and get a local anaesthetic cream ( on prescription) to numb the area for an hour before. ( Familt member is an anaesthetist and did this routinely with child patients, and I did for my dc.

Oh didn't want to get the chicken pox vaccine for lg however, I remember having chicken pox and having a horrendous time of it so its getring booked asap.

I wasnt even aware that under 2's could get the flu jab tbh, I've only recently found out. I know what you mean about giving their bodies time to recover, it just seems so much sometime.

The original plan was for myself and OH to get flu jab and continue to bf to get immunity that way.
