Breastfeeding as a contraception????

My little girl is 4 weeks today and Ive been thinking about contraception... Im soley breastfeeding my little one and Ive read up all about breastfeeding and a lot of things I've read say your less likely to fall pregnant whilst breastfeeding and less likely to have periods until you stop breastfeeding. I wanted to know has anyone found out there pregnant whilst breastfeeding? How soon? When did your periods return whilst breastfeeding?

My periods did not come back, I was BFing, and I was still 12 weeks pregnant before I even realised. I have a 14 month gap.

It’s risky.

This eventually meant that I didn’t have a period for 4 years.

😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Might as well give it a go along with the withdrawal method.

If you don’t want another baby I suggest you abstain or use additional forms of contraception.

I was lucky and had no period until "baby" was 18 months. She fed for another year and a bit as well..

We used condoms from the start though!!
