Gift for neighbour

For the past nearly 4 years my lovely neighbour has always mown the tiny bit of lawn I have outside my house. For ages I wanted to buy him something to say thank you but have no idea on what to get. He's in his 60's, not sure if he drinks but has a lovely garden so I was thinking maybe something for the garden?

Vouchers for a local garden centre perhaps?

I have given a couple of metal bird ornaments as gifts lately! Garden mug/flask set? And men do like chocolates ime!!

Make him a cake.

Says she waiting for a coffee and walnut cake to bake for my friendly farmer.

More votes for cake!
Vouchers (like cash) might possibly be taken badly and affect your relationship, obviously might also be fine but you'll know better than us. Cake is safe.
Except for diabetics. Sigh. Why is everything so difficult?

Ooh yes, cake. Cake is always good. Or freshly baked bread. That too is a winner.
I bake all the time and my neighbours love it as I pop round most days with something. They're quite partial to my battenburg and crusty white loaves.
PP makes a good point about the vouchers. I guess they could be taken the wrong way. If you do want to go that route then make sure there is a clear "thank you for mowing my patch of grass, it's really appreciated. I see you enjoy gardening so thought you might like this" type of comment.

I can't bake! 🙈 I was thinking a voucher but maybe not, maybe a garden ornament but knowing me I'd get something he wouldn't like!
