Can you reach all your teeth with your tongue?

Ok, not a TAAT but inspired by the 'how many teeth' thread.

I was wondering earlier when some posters said they didn't know, why they didn't just count with their tongue, but I just asked DH and he says he can't reach all his teeth with his tongue?

Is this a thing? Do I have an over-flexible tongue? Does he have some sort of tongue tie?

I can reach right into the where my jaws join together with the tip of my tongue.

I have 32. And can reach and count them all with my tongue. I had no idea I was so special Grin

Frlrlrubert · 30/09/2018 22:38

I have 29 btw, 3 of my wisdom teeth are sideways and can't erupt.

Still no idea how many DH has, he's refusing to engage and says MN is lies and his tongue is fine.

I might have to count them while he's asleep.

I've got 28 I didn't have room for my wisdom teeth so they had to come out

27 adult teeth (one died and was removed years ago), 1 half erupted wisdom, one fully erupted wisdom.

All easy to feel with my tongue.

Littlefish · 30/09/2018 22:45

I have 30. I have 2 front top teeth missing. They just never grew.

megletthesecond · 30/09/2018 22:46

Can reach them but don't think I'm counting them accurately, I think it's 28, 7 in each quarter. I don't have any missing and my bastard wisdom teeth are impacted. I'll try tomorrow in daylight so I can double check.

TheCrowFromBelow · 30/09/2018 22:46

28 teeth and can feel them all. I can roll my tongue too so I blow through it.
And twist it upside down.

SmellyHead · 30/09/2018 22:46

Yes, I can reach them all.

twosunbathingdogs · 30/09/2018 22:47

I have 27 - I had 4 teeth removed, but have no idea where the other one is

tinyradish · 30/09/2018 22:48

I can reach them all but can't count them like that. It's not the bumpy ones but the straight ones - can't tell where one ends & the next begins?

Just counted & I have 28. 4 are wisdom teeth which are not fully 'out' however they seem to be stuck how they are forevermore.

Ollivander84 · 30/09/2018 22:50

I can reach all. 31, had one extraction

VanGoghsDog · 30/09/2018 22:53

I have twelve on top and fourteen on the bottom, can reach all of them and can tell which is a tooth. I had two top ones taken out when I was fourteen and all four wisdom teeth taken out when I was in my twenties.

I have one filling.

ChoccyJules · 30/09/2018 22:57

I can count with my tongue and just checked my reckoning with a finger, 24. That doesn’t sound like enough having read PP!

PickAChew · 30/09/2018 23:01

I can count 30. Missing a wisdom tooth and an incisor.

Glaciferous · 30/09/2018 23:02

I don't have any wisdom teeth. Or of I have, they are still hidden (am 50 so think they'd have appeared by now).

Stupomax · 30/09/2018 23:20

I can reach all of mine with my tongue. Gosh - I feel a bit porn-star like now.

Cantthinkofabloodyname · 30/09/2018 23:36

I have 25 teeth and I can count them with my tongue. I had 2 teeth removed before I got my braces as a child, all 4 wisdom teeth out when I was 19 and one tooth fell apart when I was pregnant with my youngest DS.

ANutAsBigAsABoulder · 30/09/2018 23:52

I only have 24 teeth 😬 I had impacted wisdoms, so they were extracted, and another four removed for braces due to an overcrowded jaw. Unsurprisingly, I’m not a fan of going to the dentist!

ANutAsBigAsABoulder · 30/09/2018 23:53

Also unsurprisingly, I can reach each of my paltry clutch of teeth with my tongue

LesLavandes · 30/09/2018 23:55

Yes

BitOutOfPractice · 01/10/2018 00:00

I can reach all mine with my tongue and therefore can confirm your DH is a weirdo op. You can tell him that from me.

DP and I have just spent a fascinating few moments counting our teeth. He has 27. I have 28. So I’m the winner.

ILoveDaveGrohl · 01/10/2018 00:11

31

EBearhug · 01/10/2018 00:22

I can reach all mine, all exposed surfaces, and count them. I do have a long tongue, though.

LifeofClimb · 01/10/2018 00:27

Yes I can and I have 33.

GingerFrogs · 01/10/2018 00:32

Yes but can't feel them cos have nerve damage
