Driving your teenagers around - 16

I feel frustrated by being requested to drive my 16 year old daughter all over the show. Today, I drove her to her part-time job, picked her up, then drove her to a party. This took 90 minutes in total. 1.5 hours out of my day. There is public transport where we live. She could get there on her own. I'm a SAHM so I guess I feel guilty.... like it's my "only job" but...I do so much, and I'm busy all the time doing stuff. And I feel that her needs for transport totally dictate my day and change my routine. Am I a cow? I feel like like teens these days make plans to go to places far away, without thinking about how they are going to get there. And then parents suck it up and drive them there. I am in Australia, by the way. I am so frustrated!!!!

Not driving them round but driving me up the wall!

The only time I get any real conversation from them is when I am giving them lifts.

Yes,I am in this nightmare.I am praying he'll be driving soon and be able to ferry himself around. I picked up a speeding fine and three points on my license driving him back from a footie match at 11pm in a place I didn't know, couldn't see the speed limit signs a fortnight ago...nightmare.
