Is any one **NOT** in love with their instant pot?

I’m considering buying and doing some research.

It seems like there cannot be a thread about IPs without hoards of mumsnetters orgasming over them.

It puts me off! I’d like to here from anyone who doesn’t explode with excitement at the mere mention of “instant pot”.

I’m totally average cook.
Just me and two children. I do the usual spaghetti Bol and casseroles but also a lot of fish (3x a week) so only end up doing a big casserole or bolognese once a fortnight

Thanks

May just be me but most things I make turn
out really watery so I often just use the hob now! Bolognese, curry, casseroles etc

Oh and no matter how much you clean it, it stinks!

IP makes in 25 minutes what takes a slow cooker 4 hours to do. This alone is 100% worth it. We use ours minimum 3 times a week. This week we've made soup and boiled eggs.

I cook rice in it.

Everything else takes ages to come to pressure, sticks to the bottom, takes ages for pressure to release. Great if you like watery food.

I still don’t know what one is Grin
