Thanks all. 😳 my 5 year old ds came out with it recently. I've used it (infrequently) as until now I thought it was akin to Drat, Flipping etc . Dh didn't think it was appropriate, hence the thread. Had no idea of the connotations. Will stop immediately!

Absolutely not appropiate!

The test is if they would say it to their teacher and not be told off for it. Sodding fails this test.
