Quick response- whole chicken 2 days past use by date- ok to cook/eat??

Would you cook a whole chicken that's 2 days past USE BY date?

The stuffing could mask the smell of a smelly chicken

Never risk out of date poultry. It isn't worth the worry. Glad you lobbed it out OP.

I'm pretty relaxed about dates, but I usually find that chicken smells bad within a day or so of use by date.

You wouldn't enjoy it anyway if you had any doubts about it.

You can’t tell if it will make you sick by smell. You can’t smell everything that could make you seriously unwell. Bin it.

I would if it didn’t smell off.
