What's your favourite ever chocolate bar

My favourite is a Kit Kat chunky! I love to eat one while having a cuppa and I always bite the chunky chocolate off first all the way around and then eat the wafer! Does anyone else eat it like this?!!

Mine was Cadbury Marble but they don't make it anymore sadly. I tend to like solid milk chocolate bars rather than ones with stuff in.

QueenOfMyWorld · 23/09/2018 17:50

Star bar

Shadow01 · 23/09/2018 17:53

Secret bars - much missed Sad

The original Timeouts

Lion bars - thankfully so far no one has messed with these.

Secret Bars
Nuts about caramel
Texan
Peanut Boost

Now there's nothing I reallllly love. Maybe the odd starbar or drifter.

Courtney555 · 23/09/2018 17:55

OMG (WARRANTS CAPS, AS I NEED YOUR FULL ATTENTION.)

M&S TIROLA BAR.

They were my childhood obsession, then about age 10 (26 yrs ago) they stopped doing them and I still feel the pain.

Does anyone else remember them. Like a smooth praline with bits in, sandwiched between really fine crisp chocolate. Perfectly square, and about 4 inches long.

What is the modern day equivalent!!!

BifsWif · 23/09/2018 17:55

Secret bars and Spiras.

I used Spiras as straws to suck my tea up and they’d go all melty. God I miss them.

UnderHerEye · 23/09/2018 18:05

Drifters and lion bars and old Cadbury fruit and nut.

I can’t eat any kind of Cadbury chocolate now, it tastes awful.

JuneFromBethesda · 23/09/2018 18:06

Probably Ritter Alpine Milk.

Also Lindt lemon
Green & Blacks milk chocolate with salt (so addictive)

I'm enjoying M&S mint truffle bars at the moment, also their peanut butter bars.

I too miss the old Dairy Milk. It used to hit the spot like nothing else Sad

Still have a soft spot for a Kitkat although the chocolate is shite

Lindt citron frappé. I have to be really careful how often I buy it.

winterinmadeira · 23/09/2018 19:04

Star bars; kit kats and my current favourite is ripples.

Bimgy85 · 23/09/2018 19:04

Can't choose
Aldis wacko bars are addictive, as are kinder Buenos, mint aero I could eat all day long, kit kat peanut butter, milky bar, dairy milk

CherryMaraschino · 23/09/2018 19:04

Does anyone remember Mars Bar Midnight? Limited edition I think. I got one from the school vending machine every morning for breakfast in year 9 or thereabouts. I miss them so badly.

Dowser · 23/09/2018 19:05

Love a dime bar
Dark choc toblerone
Not a bar but Thornton’s dark Russian caramels
What I’d give for an old fashioned mars bar though
Now it’s hotel chocolat, green and blacks, vivani, seed and bean
Mayan gold is nice

Dowser · 23/09/2018 19:07

Ritter sport marzipan is nice as well
Lidl do a nice festive dark chocolate marzipan
I love dark chocolate Brazil’s as well
For the protein naturally

Frosty66611 · 23/09/2018 19:12

A pp mentioned above that their favourite was the Marble bar. That was also my favourite and I was addicted to them. So gutted when Cadbury’s stopped making them.
My favourites now are probably:
Mint Aero
Orange Lindt
Frys Turkish Delight
Milky Bar

beela · 23/09/2018 19:13

Oooh I'd forgotten about fuse bars. Yum.

My current favourite is lindt dark chocolate with sea salt.

Lyinglow50 · 23/09/2018 19:13

I'm surprised at the love for Frys Chocolate Cream. I ate 2 of them in the car yesterday.

I never even heard about an orange frys bar. They mustn't have come to Ireland. They sound pretty awful. Are they?

TomHardysNextWife · 23/09/2018 19:16

Walnut whip.... especially the coffee one from M & S.

I could eat my own body weight in them.... and that's a LOT Grin

Sadly am diabetic so have one or two at Christmas as a special treat.

BrokenFlipflop · 23/09/2018 19:19

Proud I'm sure I saw the orange Frys bars in Iceland (the shop)

Heatiskillingme · 23/09/2018 19:19

Galaxy liason bar!! Or mars delight ❤️

Furrycushion · 23/09/2018 19:24

Star bar

TwoDrifters · 23/09/2018 19:42

Boost. But the old red-packaged coconut ones. The day they disappeared from the shops was a day of mourning in my household.
