What the actual fuck does that mean in normal speak? 'Cause she just giggled & buggered off upstairs when I asked Confused Grin

(She is almost 12 so I'm guessing some sort of teen-speak ish??)

gossip/truth

Troubledwater · 22/09/2018 21:35

It means gossip Grin

“Pour the tea sis”

fuzzywuzzy · 22/09/2018 21:36

I’d make her a cuppa (seriously) and take it to her with a completely straight face.

lucysmam · 22/09/2018 21:39

Haha fuzzy I just might do that! Grin

Wonder what else I'm going to have to have translated Hmm

My DD says ‘what’s the tea sis?’ At least 25 times a day

lucysmam · 22/09/2018 21:50

I've never heard it before Stoorie! It did make me chuckle though.

I'm reasonably sure I'll be back for more translation as she goes through secondary school.

You will just get used to one saying and she will come out with another!

MeAgainSparkle · 22/09/2018 21:52

Yep gossip. “Pour me a mug of steaming hot tea” or in other words “give me your juiciest gossip”

MintEye · 22/09/2018 21:54

Sis is there tea? I am living for the tea.

If the tea is good, I'll be deceased.

Witchend · 22/09/2018 22:01

I would have responded with "Give me a T, please Bob"

Grin
