Boobs hurting, I think I see a line. Dh had the snip.

My breasts have been really sore for about a week now. My cycles are regulari(ish) 28-31 days. I'm on day 32. Had a massive tantrum about nothing this morning. Thought I'd go for a rummage in the cupboard for an old test and just double check even though dh was acting like I 'd lost my mind. Test expired in 2016! Google says false negatives a risk with expired tests but positives less so.

Dh couldn't see it but he has literally only ever seen the line in the first week once in 5 pregnancies. Popped out and bought a cheapy in the afternoon and it was a very obvious negative but I'm still concerned and still not menstruating.

Thoughts? Can you see it? It's a shit picture and I can only barely see it on the photo but I know people are experts here at the POAS squint.

Dh had a vasectomy because we really don't want any more children.

Are the superdrug tests (not digital) still the most sensitive? They were last time I was in the market for pregnancy tests.

I don't normally get the breast pain myself except when pregnant. Could be things changing though.

You know now your Dh has bought 3 tests your period will arrive just before you take them.

That always worked before when were ttc. Still negative though and no sign of AF.

Whatever happens now I'm not going to be able to get over the idea that this could have been a chemical pregnancy and that maybe dh has got a few swimmers left.

I never used to get sore breasts, ever really. Not with pmt or with pregnancy but over the last year they have been agony about a week before I come on so symptoms can change over time. I'm in my 30s btw. Dh has also had the snip, it's a 1 in 200 chance of vasectomy failing so not that incredibly rare.
