This weather's a bit lively... anyone else?

Wales here. I'm starting to panic a bit. We're inside but with a flat roof and lots of Windows. So windy and rainy it's like being in a carwash or something... I'm pacing around trying to ward off a full blown panic attack.

I've just got home along the M6. Didn't get above 50mph for most of the journey, too wet and windy.

DP for some idiotic reason cycled home and will have to cycle the 14 miles into work tomorrow morning. I showed him the weather warning last night, but was ignored as usual.

South Yorkshire here, lots of roads flooded, it's not stopped raining since 11AM Thursday, don't even know if we'll get to school in the morning, river at the bottom of the road has burst it's banks, main road at other way out of village is flooded, I'm hoping it might stop earlier than forecast, & we can get to school the long way round.

Woken me up in South London. Seems to have calmed down now but was going mad about half an hour ago. Trying to get back to sleep - both DH and DCat are sharing the bed with me and snoozing gently, no idea how they’ve slept through the wind.

NW here S Manchester. I love a good storm especially when I'm tucked up on bed and it's been full on whistling down the chimney for a good hour but now it's stopped so I guess it's over.

Still super windy here in Bucks, and it's bin day so I expect chaos in the morning (we don't have main bins, just black and clear sacks so I'll be picking rubbish out my garden for days).

My cat is unimpressed by the weather too and has been pawing at me for attention because she's unsure about it. She keeps going to sit in the window and then deciding against it two seconds later.
