flowerpot yes, my legs and upper arms have more definition, my bottom is a bit firmer and my tummy is also flatter (although still the most wobbly bit of me). I'm mid 40s and wishing I'd started this 10 years ago!

How are you getting on flowerpot? I'm on week 1 run 1 and still willing to keep going, so that's a start. No dramatic changes to my body yet unfortunately!

I found it hard to start with when I started it. But I persevered with it and started to enjoy it.

Four and a bit years later I’ve run over 2,800 miles done a 5k, a few 10k’s four half marathons and a marathon. I’m three stones lighter too.

Stick with it it’s well worth it.

I started a year ago, I ran 6k easily today without stopping & I've entered myself into a 10k race!

When I started I hadn't even run for bus for about 20 years. I had no idea I could do what I did today :)

Keep going, and when you have finished C25k sign up for a race or do park run or something to make sure you keep going over the winter

I made it to week 4 today. I ran for 5 minutes straight and don’t remember the last time I felt so proud of myself!

Keep it up Op!

gobbin · 02/10/2018 21:00

Well done MrsFiona it’s a great feeling eh!

KitchenDancefloor · 03/10/2018 16:51

Woo-hoo

I've done the first three runs and I'm still breathing. I'm finding it much better to shuffle run with a group as I can't quit half way and it makes me show up.

How are you doing OP?

TimeIhadaNameChange · 05/10/2018 09:26

Well done everyone!

I did my first half marathon on Sunday!!!!! It was bloody fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the pain and tiredness. The wonderful thing is that I'm smiling in all the official race photos, even the ones I had no idea were being taken at the time.

The really strange thing is that, having completed it, I get the feeling I can officially call myself a runner. If you'd known me at school, or even just a year ago, you'd have laughed yourselves stupid at the thought of anyone using that term for me!

But honestly, if I can get there so can you. So keep going. All you have to do is put one foot in front of the other!!!!!!

That’s amazing Time!

I finished week 4 today, I already want to go out and do my next run. I never thought I could enjoy running!
