Filling out a contact form for school and in DDs details one of the parts to be filled in is 'Position within the family' what do I put? 'Currently on the sofa watching TV'? Confused

Eldest child, middle child, child 7 of 25 etc.

Does it mean your DD? In which case is she your first born or have an older sibling? I've been asked this before and for my DD I put oldest of two children.

YeTalkShiteHen · 20/09/2018 14:21

Eldest, mjddle, 3rd of 5 sort of thing I’d imagine.

Sounds a bit grand though eh?

AintNobodyHereButUsChickens · 20/09/2018 14:26

Great thanks! She's the eldest so I guess I'll put that. For 'child's religion' I'm so tempted to put 'She's 7, she hasn't decided yet.' :o (I'll just put Athiest...)

If you child has siblings you should put "eldest of x number". So my DD is "eldest of two" and DS is "youngest of two".

It is helpful for school to know how many are in the family.

When it comes to any of my kids, my automatic answer would probably be "The boss" or "The one in charge" at least 😂

I think I put 'Head of Household' when my now six year old started Reception. Grin

For DS2 I'd write "despotic dictator".
