I'm posting this because I never found out what the advice was regarding a recent post about school runs . A friend was taking OPs child to school everyday , but OP and other parent were not talking?
I ask , because Several years ago I lived near my manager. When she became pregnant she stopped driving , when I was leaving the office (to race home to pick up my children from after school club) my manager was always at the office door, as we live near each other I could not not just leave her to get the bus. On a good day car was 45 mins , bus woulhave been 2 hours. She never once thanked me or bought me a present. In the end I took redundancy.
The point of my post... I was a mug

Nah, she was unbelievably rude.

Why didn't she drive after she became pregnant?

Wow. The fact you gave someone you worked with, who lived near you, a lift each evening several years ago is on your mind now ? Hmm

Hi BackforGood, i raised it as an earlier thread (which I cannot find now) mentioned how an OPs child was getting a lift to school everyday from a friend. and now it appeared the friend was not talking to her. My comment is more , yes it's fine to get lifts but sometimes the driver does feel a mug because of lack of appreciation. A small gesture (flowers/chocs/ invite out for coffee) to show appreciation would have been nice.
Chaos, I'm in a CPZ area, She had no parking where she lived so decided to sell her car! I paid to park.
