Anyone had their child's party at partyman world?

So really stressed out now with my lo 7th birthday party cominext up. He wants to have at the partyman world so I have paid a deposit online and they have sent me party invites, that's all. I had to ring them to ask if I need balloons and stuff. All they said was it is up to me.
I just wondered if I need to decorate the booth or not to make it look more party?. I'm on a very tight budget too.
Also do I need to order food for the parents as well or is it rude not to?
The children will be offered sandwiches, crisps, fruit and vegetables and a chocolate bar, £2.50 extra for chips and pizza per child if I wanted to add hot food. Is it too much food or just get the extras?
Lastly is the birthday boy included in the number of guests paid for ie I paid for 11
Thanks for your advice

Never heard of this. Can you email them? i would say birthday boy not included so you can invite 11. I think the cold food is plenty.

I wouldn't worry about feeding parwnts. I have sometimes offered them a hot drink at a soft play party but paying for platters can get expensive. Have you been to this one before? In my experience kids will be having so much fun they won’t notice booth decorations. They spend most time running around, right?

I don’t know if they have them everywhere but there’s a party man world near me in hertfordshire.

I have been once to drop off and collect so I don't really remember if the booth was decorated. I don't know if other parents were offered any food or drink either.
All my lo talks about is how much fun they had playing , never mind the deco😁
This will be the one in Stevenage, there is as nice cafe maybe I get hot drinks for everyone from there. Party is in October the weather will have turned by then.
Thank you for all your replies.

Ah yes I know it (a bit) - have been to a couple of parties there and honestly don't remember the decorations at all! As long as the kids have fun I'm happy. I was tempted to book it for my 4-yr-old this year but didn't in the end. It looked quite reasonable.

My son had a laser kombat party there (upstairs!) and I think he was included in the numbers which was a bit annoying. However I'm not sure that's actually right.

You could post this on the local board and more people familiar with the venue might post, though easiest thing to do is try and ring them in the day when they will be quieter.

Could you not just phone them and ask? Hmm

I've been to a few parties at the one in Stevenage (DS used to go to the attached nursery, so I know it very well!) I wouldn't bother with balloons etc. as they'll only use the "party pod" bit for eating - other than that they'll be too busy playing. All the parties I've been to, the parents just bought their own refreshments from the café so I wouldn't think you'd need to cater for them. There's always been plenty of food for the kids, with leftovers, so I guess if there's any very peckish parents they could help themselves from that!
