They have a crotch ..... so knickers?
But they have feet .....so maybe socks?

I have one drawer which houses socks, tights and knickers. Impressed that anyone has enough pairs of knickers to fill a drawer!

Or are all your drawers really small? I have an old Edwardian chest of drawers so there are only three large be two small drawers.

Small drawers: underwear; makeup, jewellery and general crap.
Large drawers: running kit; pjs and leggings/joggers; DH's.

serbska · 17/09/2018 07:21

They have their own drawer

HicDraconis · 17/09/2018 08:56

In the generic underwear drawer.

Top drawer - knickers, tights, stockings & belt (worn once every decade roughly), sports socks, incense (?), christmas theatre hats, random other shit.

Second drawer - nightshirts, t shirts, leggings, shorts.

Third drawer - DH’s underpants

Fourth drawer - communal socks.

I don’t have a drawer for bras but then I only have two.

theunsure · 17/09/2018 09:03

I have a tights drawer!

2 knicker drawers (small) - one side for comfy cottons and the other for fancy ones
1 bra drawer
1 vest tops drawer
1 tights drawer
2 sock drawers (riding socks in one and normal socks in the other.

In the absence of multiple drawers it is definitely socks. I could not live with knickers and tights combined. Very wrong indeed!

Babdoc · 17/09/2018 09:07

Neither, as I never wear tights. Revolting things. I have a winter sock drawer, a summer sock drawer and an underwear drawer.

legocardsagain · 17/09/2018 09:10

I have a tights bag! Two actually. One for nude and one for black. They hang on the inside of the wardrobe door where all my work dresses are.

Borntobeamum · 17/09/2018 09:34

Drawer 1 - knickers tights and socks.
Drawer 2 - bras underskirts/petticoats (yes I still wear them!)

Ratonastick · 17/09/2018 09:42

I have a tights bag, separate from all other underwear. It’s with my work clothes (this is relevant) as I only wear tights to work. SO pop socks (bleurgh but necessary as who wants to wear tights under work trousers). In the sock drawer or in the tights bag? They are foot specific so sock drawer but part of the “what to wear to work” decision so tights bag.

ShowOfHands · 17/09/2018 09:47

They're in my t-shirt drawer. Thermals are in there too.

Drawer one (small): knickers and bras
Drawer two (small): socks
Drawer three: tops (three piles: sleeveless; short sleeves; long sleeves)
Drawer four: t-shirts, tights, thermals
Drawer five: pyjamas and bed socks
Drawer six: workout kit

HoneyDragon · 17/09/2018 09:51

I still don’t know where to put mine ....AND WINTER IS COMING

Mine lived in the attic until we moved house. Then I chopped them up so I could use them to protect the wine bottles when we boxed them up. They were my school tights!

MaryandMichael · 17/09/2018 10:38

Thermals have their own place.
Underskirts go with bras.
Knickers have their own place.
Suspenders etc have a place called 'non-standard underwear'.
Little tops have their own place.
Undertops (the jumpers or shirts you'd wear under a bigger top) have a different place of their own.
Stockings are in with socks and tights.

theunsure · 17/09/2018 10:47

@Ratonastick

I only own a few pop socks as prefer to wear socks and boots with trousers - but they live with tights in my world (but in the back corner of the drawer so as to not be easily muddled).

But I suppose I could see an argument for living with socks.

I suspect it would come down to drawer capacity for me.

thinks about going home to rearrange drawers
