I could only remember 151 of the top 200 Harry Potter characters and now I feel like a failure

My niece challenged me to this quiz and I thought I’d smash it, and I only got 75.5!! I’m so bloody annoyed with myself!

Is anyone else as rubbish as me?

I only got 84 there were a fair few characters who I could think of but couldn't remember their name. Should have been 85 as I definitely typed in Bellatrix Lestrange!!

Accidentally discovered that If you enter in the last name it enters in all characters automatically, so I got all four Dumbledores when I'd have had no idea at all about three of them.

Thats how to do it quick. Type in the surnames.

That’s one of my favourite Sporcle quizzes and I’ve started treating it as a regular memory exercise on what strategies work best for me in terms of memory/recall.

That said I’ve only once got 100%. Obscure death eaters, Slytherin quidditch players or Wilkie Bloody Twycross are usually my downfall.

I got 123. But I didn't realise that animals counted (like Buckhorn) and was hampered by my spelling at times because you had to get the spelling completely right.

Hark at me though, someone who only got about 73 characters, not sure what the percentage was. Thanks to you OP I was up to 1am last night doing: Star Trek characters and episodes, X Files episodes, Buffy episodes, Doctor Who companions, Doctor Who episodes and Red Dwarf characters and episodes. I was much worse in all of them than I thought, except Dr Who companions which I rocked at.

That was terrible. I got 77... and I class myself as a fan
