New ways to spell words - FB

Spelling pedantic here

Browsing through FB last night and noticed a new spelling for perhaps....

“Prahaps”

Any other corkers?

One that I've noticed on here as well as FB is alot instead of a lot. My phone just corrected it three times so I'm not sure how people get it so wrong.

The worst one I have seen is 'jaw carriageway'.

Devine instead of divine.
Gives me irrational rage.

Aloud instead of allowed annoys me

Sank or sunk instead of something, summat is slightly less annoying.

When people are DISCUSTED.

'I'm bias' instead of biased. Just stop it

Discusted and fumming crack me up

The others are awful, but I'm an English teacher and these will always annoy me.

Another one that riles me is the use of “what” rather than “that”.

E.g. “Is that everything what you want?”

on selling pages. Just hate it.

Brought instead of bought makes me want to boil my head.

' I text him' instead of 'I texted him' (I admit that one is quite pedantic but it infuriates me that it's become standard English)

Who's instead of whose is one I've spotted today. Facebook selling pages are full of clangers - people who can't spell just make it up instead of checking first.

As instead of has is one that seems to be creeping in near me.

"XXXX as been on a lovely day out."

"XXXXX as eaten a whole box of Quality Street."

Off instead of of.

A vague relative just posted "can't be arsd wiv the lot off you "

I had to unfriend someone on FB because the continued use of the word exited instead of excited. They seemed to be exited quite a lot as well...

I've seen 'cum' instead of 'come' used plenty and it makes me shrivel up a bit inside

I can go one better, my 10 year old purposely pronounces words wrong all the time like fabulous is fabroolus (plus she says it with a fake American accent usually) it drives me INSANE, I'm constantly correcting her, she does it because she thinks is sounds cute !!

I hate it when friends type exactly how they speak IRL, so in regional dialect (Geordie), A instead of I really pisses me off. How hard is it to actually just put the I, it’ll make you look less thick.

The thing that I see a lot on here is
“ hence why” as in “ hence why I asked him to sort it out”.
Argh. That’s why or hence, not an amalgamation of them both.

I used to work with someone who would say "whenabouts did you do that?"
