Possibly the most ridiculous thing to be annoyed about

I know this is ridiculous. But it does just irk me. Woman I went to school with has DD about 13 months. This child is up past 11pm every night, without fail. I know this because there is a status/photo/video on Facebook of what this child is doing instead of being asleep, usually containing the words 'why isn't she in bed yet?' BECAUSE YOU HAVENT PUT HER TO BED YET??? If my DD was up at 11pm there would be absolute hell to pay the next morning.

Same woman also complains that DD won't sleep in her cot. Also uploads photos everyday of said child napping on her, and complains that she spends her whole day with her child asleep on her instead of her playing and letting her get on with house work etc. Has all common sense gone? Am I a mean mother for putting my DD to bed at 7pm and not letting her nap on me all day?

Just wanted to rant. I need to delete her off Facebook really.

Delete her off FB and leave her alone. You are being smug and judgemental, you don't know how much this woman has struggled with the child's sleep and what an uphill battle it has been. Posting on FB May just be her way of making light of a very stressful situation. You

@ILikePaperHats it is literally none of my business so I don't really know why I get so annoyed about it. Maybe because I know the solution to her issues with her DD sleeping, but the solution seems so obvious.

Just because something works for your child doesn't mean it will work for hers. Maybe stopping her napping in the day just makes her hysterically over tired and hyper? Maybe putting her to bed at 7pm (presumably you then advocate leaving her to cry??)
Leaves her screaming until she throws up.
