Best stick on/ iron on name tags

DS keeps losing things at nursery - socks, tops, shoes etc etc. Nursery aren't a lot better at keeping track of things so I'm thinking of using iron on name tags. Any recommendations?

Stikins. You can get them on Amazon. They go through the wash machine and dishwasher no problem and last for ages. You just stick them on with no need to sew or iron.

I use these, the iron on ones. I also use to shoe ones for lunch boxes, shoes etc.
I find sometimes I only need 2-8 seconds as opposed to the 10-15 seconds they say to iron them on.

Stickins, stickins, stickins.
Only the original, not the copy cats.

I can't fault the stick in ones from woven labels U.K. They don't adhere well to polo shirt material (but then they don't claim to) but washing care labels, shoes, anything that does through the dishwasher, they're bomb proof. the one DS stuck on his tummy because 'it's my name' took a lot of prising off

Yep stikins are great.

hidengosqueak · 12/09/2018 23:32

Stamptastic I'm telling everyone now because I didn't discover them till last year.

strawberrypenguin · 12/09/2018 23:40

Just use a sharpie!

Atchiclees · 13/09/2018 01:11

Stamptastic for everything in our house.

Stikins!

I bought some after recommendations on here and they are bloody brilliant. Survive a hot dishwasher cycle and 60 degree washing machine cycle. Really good value too.

I have used super tags from name tags 4 u for years. Ds is in year 4 and ones that i put on in reception are still in place perfectly

I have a strip in the cupboard so anything going to School gets a sticker!

FaithInfinity · 13/09/2018 07:08

I got a stamptastic for this year and I’m very impressed with it!

InTheNavy · 13/09/2018 08:05

Yes to Stikins. Very quick service and stay in place wash after wash.
Only downside, no choice of colour of labels etc

Easynow · 13/09/2018 08:07

Stikins.

They are still on DDs clothes & also lunchboxes & water bottles that are put in the dishwasher every day.

Thegirlinthefireplace · 13/09/2018 08:08

Another stitkins vote. You can get them pre printed or ones that you write on with a sharpie or similar laundry marker. I've used them for years and they take a lot of washes and stay out.

NoWordForFluffy · 13/09/2018 08:08

Yep, another Stikins vote here.

Thegirlinthefireplace · 13/09/2018 08:08

Stay "put"

OrchidInTheSun · 13/09/2018 08:15

I use My Nametags. They don't come off and you don't need to iron them on. Lots of oolours/designs/fonts

Gohackyourself · 13/09/2018 15:44

Having been there done that with 18 an 11yr old ds’s, is reccommend a black sharpie pen and wrote initials on labels in clothes bags etc.
All labels eventually come off in my experience - sharpie stays on even through washing :-)

Hullabaloo31 · 13/09/2018 15:48

Stikins - indestructible. I got a stamp in reception but it's only any good for some things, and not always huge and bold enough to be noticed.

JoggerBottom · 13/09/2018 15:53

Anyone used the M&S ones yet? Mine came through in the post today...have yet to iron on yet.

MaryThorne · 13/09/2018 15:58

I use My Nametagsand have done for years - very happy with them
