If you write a regular piece for your village mag

What do you write about?

This is quite possibly one of the most ridiculous problems to have, but I’d like to write something for our village mag (which is crying out for content) and I really don’t have anything to bring to the table Grin

The editor has made a few suggestions, but I’ve tried to write about them and am struggling for things to say for the first column, let alone a regularly monthly piece. Perhaps I’m not cut out for writing (which is perfectly plausible given I probably haven’t written anything of interest since leaving school!) but if you have any ideas I’m all ears...

God, not the dog, maerd. There's enough whimsical shite in local newsletters. What you've said about the farm work at this time of year would be great, I think -- I'm certainly always a bit taken aback at how unattuned to farmwork the people in our village are, given that we're surrounded by farmland, and most of them have lived there all there lives. (I'ma blow-in.)

I was taking the bus home from our nearest city last week, and there was much horror and disgust at the smell from slurry-spreading, with some people saying it must be a burst sewer!

I'd do several short pieces. One by the dog about all the lovely sights and smells and how odd these humans are messing around in the mud. One sensible one from you. And maybe another one, from the list of ideas.
