It’s not a conversation I have all that regularly but when it does come up so many people pull a face when I say that dh isn’t into porn and that I wouldn’t like it playing a part in our relationship. Is it really that common among men? Are women really ok with it?

Personally, the subject doesnt come up in general conversation

And i dont think its something dh would hide

I know 100% that DH doesn’t watch porn. He doesn’t use any tech at all - no laptop, no mobile phone. I am the only one out of the two of us who does have tech, so I am always there to help him if he needs to email etc. He hates tech and he hates porn.

Everytime I see men parked in laybys/roadsides/parked up in high lorries, all looking down at their phones and right hand I immediately think Porn.

Or they could just be responding to a text stormzy? What an odd thing to think

Phone is off all night
We get up together and sort children/ourselves
Drives to work
Very open office, lots of meetings etc.
Comes home and helps on an evening
Spends all evening with me
Goes to bed
Phones off...

I remember as a teenager he had a couple of DVDs (only had family computer at this time). I think I tried to be the "cool girlfriend" who would be watch porn with her boyfriend and he was rarely interested.

I think it depends on the libido of the guy.

I drive as part of my job, I see loads in a day. I know what the shady fuckers are up to. It doesn't take a genius to work it out.

I think people's point is they know their husbands' view on porn as they've presumably discussed it, if they're making representations. Sure he could be lying, but he could be lying about anything - why stop at porn!

penelope (great user name btw) I agree. Most male porn users will be aware that many women do not approve, therefore it's much easier to just lie about it. I personally feel people should not be put on the spot about it, male or female. It's private.

My husband doesn’t. I assumed all men did when I met him but he doesn’t. Due to the kids we tend to go to the toilet with the door open these days. The only place he could possibly look at it without my noticing is work and they frown on that sort of thing there.

What he does watch that I hate is bloody adverts on YouTube. Unboxing videos. “Reviews” (adverts). “Sponsored videos”. And gets all sad about things he can’t afford and not living up to a lifestyle that neither of us have the work ethic to make happen.

I should add that my driving around is 75% rural locations. I don't mean men sitting outside Aldi or owt!
