We've just done our whole house. Yellow kitchen, duck egg blue in lounge, dark tealy blue in study, dark glass green in the library Blush lilac in DD's room, two shades of green in DD's room, sage green in our room, grey and royal blue in the spare room.

We love bold colours and have a horror of white/magnolia/latte type colours

I'm half way through decorating my house. It's been white/off white for 6 years and I need some colour. The Dds chose their bedrooms so one is pink and one purple but nice bold ones not pastel. I'm not a pastel fan. Kitchen is olive green, lounge is going to be dark green and an off beige colour called Labrador sands. Then our bedroom is going to be navy and teal I think anyway.

Still love the colours we have:

Pale green in the kitchen.
Dark pink in the bathroom,
Turquoise in the playroom,
Muddy puddle and magnolia in the living room.

I'd like muddy puddle in our room I think, and the DC have aqua and pink, and cream (soon to be redecorated) in their rooms.

I love a bit of colour!

I really wanted to use f&b peignoir. I also love f&b pigeon.

We have recently repainted with blues. Very fresh in some rooms with the light and calming in others. Need to paint the kitchen, going for a sage green.

Did ours a year ago and spent a huge amount of time getting the colours right (5 years before I didn't and I hated them but couldn't afford to change)

So pale primose yellow in all the halls/landing thoughout the house (can't tell you how many primrose yellows I put on the wall before I picked one).

Deep blue in the family room with white bookshelves
Pale lemon in living room

Neutral blue-tinged grey in kitchen and dining room (which is mostly white pannelled so colour mattered very little)

In bedrooms the nicest one is my son's which is a deep ebony grey - wish I had chosen it myself. My dds painted their ceilings darker versions of their walls - way nicer than the accent wall imo.

The best advice I can give you is buy little pots of the paint and put it on walls and see how it really looks.
