I plan all our meals ahead, a task I hate as I can never think of what to cook. I need things suitable for 3 kids under 5 and 2 adults that are quick and easy (ideally one pot type things)

Most things I do are mince based or pasta - a bit dull but kids won't eat chicken breast

What are your tried and tested favourites?!

No strict meal plans as such - after years of meal planning, I'm generally economical by habit! For this week, it's looking like : -
Chicken (leftovers from Sunday) & broccoli oyster sauce stir fry & rice
Vegetable fried rice (with leftover rice)
Spinach & ricotta tortelini (Aldi) with pesto & green beans
Belly pork (Aldi) & veg casserole (slow cooker). Leftovers frozen.
Udon/ramen using a miso soup base & some of the leftover belly pork & some greens.

Do you follow a specific recipe for duck and pancakes? If so please share, sounds so good!

Chicken and chorizo stew (( tomato based ))

Cod and pasta bake thing that ds loves.

Pasta. Lots of pasta.

Chicken night (( piles of marinated wings and chicken thighs.served with.corn on the cob, home made sweet potato wedges, coleslaw and.cornbread )) cheap as chips and the kids love it.

Savoury rice jazzed up with pepperami, mushrooms, onions, peppers. Served with chicken thighs stuffed with cheese and wrapped in parma ham. Cucumber, tomato and watercress on the side

The old favourite fritata served with a massive salad.

Veggie bean chilli with brown rice and salad (( known as fartybum stew in this house ))

Homeless toad (( sausage stew with broccoli ))

Dirty rice (( bit like rissoto but with turkey mince, broccoli, peppers and onions and a load of flavouring. Its called dirty rice because it's meant to have chicken livers in it but I leave these out ))

Tonight im being lazy though and having sausages with savoury rice and super noodles ! But those are some of our regular meals. I tend to cook cheap but nutritious and filling food. No.need to spend a fortune.

@AhoyDelBoy for the duck and pancakes I buy the ready made Chinese pancakes from Sainsbury’s, cut cumber and spring onion julienne buy a bottle of ready made plum sauce, roast duck the day before then strip it, and lightly fry with five spice and garlic put it all on the table for everybody to make their own pancakes.
