Trying to find somewhere nice for a few nights away for wedding anniversary. Currently based in London willing to travel a few hours. Must have swimming pool and spa treatments and preferably some peace and quiet.

I would not rate the Vineyard at all. It has a lovely restaurant and wine list but the spa was a disappointment.

Pennyhill Park is lovely. If you are a hotel guest then the spa is included but you pay for any treatments - unless included in a spa package. Agree avoid weekends if possible. Especially during wedding season.

Chewton Glen was beautiful too. This is a very relaxing place. Walks down to the beach. Great restaurant.

I'd love to visit The Scarlett.

Royal crescent in Bath. You also have option of visiting the new spa in town.

Rockliffe Hall is amazing - the spa, the rooms and the restaurants are all unbelievable.

I've heard amazing things about Rudding Park too. We were there for a wedding but didn't get to use the spa (which I was gutted about)

I can also recommend the Aqua Sana spa at CenterParcs Whinfell Forest. It has about 10 different steam experience rooms, an outdoor pool, indoor jacuzzi pool and the amazing sleep suite that has waterbeds to snooze on

Ragdale Hall, I was lucky enough to win a weekend there & went with my dd. We had a lovely time and they now have a rooftop infinity pool along with their massive indoor pool and other outdoor pool. Plenty of places to sit peacefully and lovely treatment rooms.

The Scarlet, Mawgan Porth

The Scarlet, Mawgan Porth

And The Scarlet, Mawgan Porth

It’s adults only, the food is organic and locally sourced, you can have an eco-friendly clifftop hot-tub, there’s a swimming pond and indoor minimal-chemical swimming pool overlooking the beach & sea.....

Anybody on this thread who hasn't suggested Ragdale, can't have been to Ragdale.

Coworth Park is lovely, really special. Lovely hotel, great spa.

Pennyhill Park is lovely and big too, I think they have added a small spa to the sister hotel south lodge so that might be worth a look too.

Depends on budget but
Chewton Glen
Luton Hoo
Salcombe Harbour
Brimstone in Langdale
Dart Marina
A place near Cheltenham but name escapes me, thinking, Ellenborough House or something. It was lovely.

PippaPenny · 10/09/2018 21:32

For a few days, I'd be tempted to fly abroad to a spa hotel.

Bbbbb27 · 10/09/2018 21:41

Luton Hoo was really busy when I went and really hard to get a seat around the pool. Spoilt the experience.

blinkineckmum · 10/09/2018 21:43

Calcot Manor, Tetbury.

PippaPenny · 10/09/2018 21:44

Have a section for spa break offers both in the uk and abroad. I would always say check reviews though.

Grumpbum123 · 10/09/2018 21:47

Chewton glen
Limewood
Penny hill park

holidaymeltdown · 10/09/2018 21:49
