Nightmare!
I started buying small men's t shirts in Tesco etc and jeans from next. My teen son is almost 15 now. Definitely not easy to find clothes that fit!!

H&M, ASOS, River Island, M&S go to up age 15

Notveryadventurousname · 09/09/2018 23:26

Not sure if still the same now, but both Zara and H&M boys ranges went to about age 14/15 a few years ago.. Also skate shops like Two Seasons or Element do branded boys T shirts and hoodies to age 16. Pricey but great quality and often half price in the sale. Small mens stuff is ok but often a bit long in the body at this age.

Also, not generally a fan of Primark but was invaluable during this very fast growing stage...think they do an XS.

Jeans & shirts/polo shirts TKMaxx or outlet village as needs mens medium. He's the wrong shape for ultra skinny jeans as calves are too muscular so has to come to try stuff on. Tshirts online.

H&M jeans has a decent range of styles but DS is not their standard shape, is too fussy about colour & doesn't want fashion tears or button fly !

Largepiecesofcrookedwood · 10/09/2018 00:04

DS is a fan of H&M as he prefers the skinny jeans look rather than tracksuits (thank god as he's very tall and very slim- I'm sure he would look absurd in a tracksuit Grin)
I've recently bought PJ bottoms for schlepping round the house in from Sainsbury's in an XS and they seem ok. I also had good luck with Abercrombie & Fitch, though I've not checked lately whether they are still on the approved "cool" list Hmm

I buy adult clothes from supermarkets and places like ASOS. Not high fashion but DS prefers comfort over style and anyway he is growing so fast clothes last a few months and they are too small so need to be cheap! I buy medium size now and he takes size 9.5 in shoes. I thought I’d have to take up the trousers I bought for his uniform but was amazed I didn’t need to!

Nowhere, it's all shite. Menswear in small sizes much nicer, esp t-shirts/tops: Forever 21, George (Asda), Asos.
Make sure it's 100% cotton because, you know, BO.

P.S: Yes M&S do lovely soft jersey pyjamas for older boys, sizes run big!
DS adores them.
