Last day of the summer holidays here (Germany), so we went to Legoland today. And of course, the weatherbeing lovely it was really very busy, and so for the first time we decided to get express passes for us.
We got the basic ones, which queue for you electronically , so you're not skipping the queue, you just aren't physically waiting in it.
Still wasn't exactly cheap (€20 each, and there's 4 of us), but OMG it made SUCH a difference not to have to queue with ds2 (who is 3 and often very, very difficult). It was fabulous! We had such a nice, relaxing time doing other stuff and then going along for our chosen ride. There was a lot of muttering and glances though, from people still in the queue, and I did feel guilty but I'm not exactly sure why.
So, have you ever tried them? Would you? Is it somehow morally wrong? Is it another example of money buying you anything you want?
I'm unsure about it. On the one hand, it made our visit so much nicer; on the other hand it's an awful lot of money for something which is...what? A totally unecessary luxory?
