People who sleep with their dogs?

Do you put a blanket down and wash that regularly or do you just wash your own bedding more frequently.

We get a dog next Wednesday and it will sleep with my daughter who suffers with dreadful anxiety and we’ve been advised this is likely to help. Just seeing what’s he most practical thing- I might even get a bed to put next to hers.
Thank you.

PERF That sums up our dog. Apparently the breed were used as 'hot water bottles' centuries ago, so we call her a working dog just doing what comes naturally.

We're are a bit lazy and change the sheets every 3 weeks or so, but I do air the bed and keep it hoovered.

I sleep with my cat, she's very fluffy & sheds hair so I just put a large sheet over my bedding then that gets the hair on it.

If I was to get 'other' company I would just remove the sheet, & there's my nice hair free bedding.
And obviously the cat gets shut out of the bedroom then!

DDog doesn't sleep on the bed, he sleeps in the bed, under the duvet, usually snuggled up to my legs. I just wash the bedding more often and question my decision to get white bedding with a black dog on a near daily basis.

My two start off sleeping with ds, and then one of them often migrates into our bed in the night, especially if dh is away. TBF, although largish, he curls up nicely at the bottom of the bed. In ds's room they have a large dogbed on the floor and then share a double bed with him so they have a choice

Soon you will be under the thrall and the dog will sleep where they like, and you will all pander to aforementioned doggo like it owns the place. 😎
