Currently doing up DS' bedroom (he's 6).

So far we have:
Cabin bed
Wardrobes
Drawers
Desk & chair
Storage toy box

So furniture / storage is pretty much sorted.

But his walls seem bare!! Especially one which doesn't have any furniture near it. It's painted white too so I feel it needs something.

So what do your DC have on their walls?
Posters? Notice board? Photos? And of What????

The bedroom doesn't have a theme - it's just white/ blue/ grey.

Thank you!

DD8 has large educational posters (times tables, human body, solar system, and flags) because she loves learning, bunting, fairy lights and then on the other wall she has a feature wall of all of her certificates, photos, drawings and just other meaningful things to her. And a clock.

DD6 is a very different child and has a large minion poster, a few drawings, and bunting. This is her choice, she's not a massively high achiever and isn't fussed on her certificates being on the wall and constantly took the photos down for a better look and lost them 😂

DS has just turned 7 and he asked for a giant map of the globe complete with details of population and size per country (yes I know he is odd but it was on offer in the works and he fell in love with it). He also has a poster with the different eras in which the dinosaurs lived and a poster of times tables.

My DC has a couple of framed posters hung on proper picture hooks. Just tacking posters to the wall looks messy imo. The other wall has a mural of a forest painted on it with a bird shaped light that “sits” on the painted branch. When he’s older we’ll paint over the mural and he can have a desk and a magnet board to pin stuff to when he’s old enough to not eat the magnets

10 yo ds has several huge flags that dh has brought back from trips around the world for work. They all have red on them somewhere because his bedroom has a red/white/grey/black theme .

DS has just turned 10, he has had the same on his walls for a while:

Batman, Captain America and Spiderman canvases
Prints of original drawings of Dennis the Menace in frames
A footie scarf
A picture of David Bowie (although that's probably rare)

Recently he has added posters from magazines related to Pokemon, Ninjago and Minecraft and with his birthday cash he is looking for a Dan TDM poster.

A canvas her godmother painted her with her name on, a banksy canvas print and bunting

DD has a map of the world and several animal posters, then lots of certificates from school and after school clubs like brownies and swimming on another wall.

Ds 8 has star wars sticker decals
Dd 10 has feature wallpaper on one wall , Disney princesses that needs changing as she's too old for it.

DS8 has a noticeboard with random postcards, tickets etc pinned to it. He has a largish photo of his rugby team on there and a large photo of him in his rugby kit the type the professional photographers take at the end of season then flog you for lots of money. He has a large flag from when thw football team he supports went to Wembley. He has a large photo of a seal my friend took while scuba diving. He also has a medal hanger and trophy shelf.

On one wall, red grey blue & magenta bubbles, than a bookshelf with a robot alarm clock and a lamp, other side, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe door with ninjago posters.
