Parents - what part time jobs do you have to fit around childcare?

Hi,

I’m beginning to look for part time jobs I can do around childcare, or from home. I have a background in marketing but really I’m looking for something a bit less stressful!

Any ideas?

I'm in the NHS (non-clinical role). Health and Local Authorities generally flexible.

Office work. I can collect 4 days a week from school.
Kids club rest of time.

I'm in a public sector organisation. Very flexible and family friendly generally. I work on part time job share

We had a colleague in my team (marketing) who was 100% remote worker - she did a set number of hours per month but could work them whenever she liked. She did data entry, data cleanse, data verification etc for our CRM database (large corporate). She obviously knew the system inside out and had to occasionally do training.

I work in a Tesco petrol station in the evenings. Low stress, cheaper shopping. I love it.

Office admin. I work school hours only. I was lucky to get it as 80 people applied!

Marketing for a startup. 3 days a week (2 of which from home) and term time only. Now on maternity leave and currently making alternative arrangements. I had the gold dust job but didn't like the day in the office (wasn't part of my original offer and commute was long) and role was stressful.
