I was mesmerised - thought it felt like a jl Christmas ad but was confused cos too early. Brilliant!

I just saw it during GBBO advert. Fantastic

Brilliant. Had goosebumps and chuckles the whole way through. That’s a school play I’d gladly go to see. All the teachers will be under pressure now. It’ll be ‘but please miss/sir, why can’t we have a space rocket?” 😁

Normally the JL adverts irritate me - for years they were based on a mum/dad /2 children family, and then the idea that even a penguin can find love at Christmas (but you can’t!) so love that they have moved away from that.
Shame I have neither anywhere near where I live! Grin

Cute if some irrelevant to the brand.

spaghettipeppers · 04/09/2018 20:53

Half of the teachers on FB are bulk-buying tinfoil, the other half are saying oh FFS, Away in a Manger is looking a bit shite now!

Mrbatmun · 04/09/2018 20:59

I don't get it? And I'm a teacher. And why is it being released now?

stressedoutpa · 04/09/2018 21:01

Two of my favourite brands!

More decent than a lot of other companies....

Just seen it, watching Bake Off on +1. It was fab!

HolyMountain · 04/09/2018 21:38

It reminded me of the Love Actually school play, half expected High Grant to turn up.
