Can someone tell me how it works to cook a meal when there's different cooking times for the various elements of the meal? Like if I wanted to cook a chicken risotto using frozen chicken, how does it work given that the rice and the chicken have different cooking times? Or if I wanted to cook a whole chicken from frozen along with some new potatoes - can I do that all in the pressure cooker or can I only do the chicken OR the potatoes (assuming that the pot is big enough for both)?

Don't want to buy it only to find it's not as easy as I think!

I have one but haven't heard of cooking any ingredients from frozen.
It's an all in one type of method where you put everything in and then turn it on to cook. You could not add separate ingredients in during the process.

It makes amazing risotto, and has a saute function so you can brown ingredients like onions/chicken beforehand. It's very common practice among the devotees to make stews etc with frozen ingredients.
There is a "zero minute" whole chicken recipe where you only bring the cooker up to pressure then let it stand (without actually cooking, just depressurising). That one has the chicken submerged in liquid though so the vey would be very well cooked, but as long as you use 250ml of liquid in the cooker you could put the new potatoes under the chicken and pressure cook for probably 15 min.
I haven't regretted mine, its way better than a slow cooker or a stovetop pressure cooker.
